Love Marriage vs. Arranged Marriage

Relationship Guidance may be required in both types of marriages. But which one is better? Let’s find out. 

Advantages of Love Marriages-
1.Marriage is a commitment that lasts for the whole life. So, the decision to choose the life partner should be in a person's own hands.
2.Love is base of any marriage. In love marriages, there will be no question on whether love happens or not between partners.

Disadvantages of love marriages-
1.The couples who go for love marriage are mostly independent. If they want to get out of the relationships, they do not consider relatives' opinion much.
2.Youngsters may confuse the attraction with love.

Advantages of Arranged Marriage:-
1.In Arranged marriages, parents inquire about each other’s families and their friend circle. So, there is a high probability that you will get into a relationship with the similar kind of family as theirs. This prevents trusting the people blindly, which happens in most of the love marriages.
2.Parents or well-wishers think about future and economic conditions.

Disadvantages of arranged marriages-
1.Arranged marriage is like some lottery. Love may or may not occur between the couples. Some couples face a bit of compatibility issues.
2.Too much submissive nature to elders may restrict the couple from divorcing, even if they do not have love in between them any more.
