My favourite travel destination in India

Camping in Rishikesh might be the perfect vacation for some people but not me. They say that there is heaven on Earth, and it is in Kashmir, and they are right.
The valley, set amidst the mighty Himalayan mountains, holds the most stunning sights for visitor and tourists. Srinagar, being its capital and most important city through the ages, features a great number of historical and architectural landmarks, along with places of natural beauty.
However, there are a number of places to visit near Srinagar that visitors should see in addition to visiting the city. Right from Sufi Shrines to Shankar Acharya Temple, from Mughal gardens to Tulip garden, from Hari parbat mountains to Zabarwan mountains, you would surely love every place that comes your way. It also depends upon your choice of place.

These are some of the popular places you can visit-

1.Don't miss Shikara Ride in Dal Lake which is a boat ride.
2.Pari Mahal (Sunset from there looks completely mesmeric).
3.There are Mughal Gardens (Nishat, Shalimar, Harwan) truly beautiful places.
4.Bit further from Harwan is Dara. It's not developed for tourists and it's still under contruction. But if you're ready to trek a bit you'll get a great scenic view of whole city from there. It's really peaceful there on those hills.
